Bears. Beets. Battlestar Gallatica. That's what the 'B' stands for, because I know you are probably wondering. If you haven't seen The Office or haven't run into the issue of sharing the same name as a "TV presenter/fashionista" in London, then you're missing out and you won't get that reference. Anyways, it really stands for my middle name, Beatty (pronounced "BAY-TEE" not "BEAT-TEE" like it's spelled). I'm not sure why either. You can take it up with my great grandmother.
All jokes aside, I am fueled by all things creative. I am also passionate about forming meaningful and effective client relationships to build strong, unique and successful brands. In my mind, it all starts with exploring big ideas and transforming them into great creative work to spark a conversation. That's what I love most about graphic design - being able to strategically transform ideas into tangible work that solves a problem.
I grew up living in three different states. To say the least, living all over the map has given me a great small-talk arsenal. My arsenal allows me to not only talk to a brick wall, but to befriend one as well. I've even spent a summer interning abroad in Wellington, NZ. However, my current home is in the Queen City (aka Charlotte, NC). I'm currently a graphic designer at Adams Outdoor Advertising where I've discovered the power of outdoor and crafting ideas that are simple, strong and memorable.
I am available for freelance! Contact me to start creating something awesome.
